Debra...I take offense to that remark about men pouncing on what appears to be a slight faster than a woman....hmmm, never mind.

I don't think I ever met a couple who had a bigger age difference than my late husband and I did. 

@Kpwcalories......There is an age difference between my husband and I, but it isn't huge. I did have a bf years ago who was 23 years older than myself. Although he looked great for an older man his wallet was more enticing to me. :)) That sounds bad, but it's the truth. $$$ and stability.....can't beat that, right? :))  

LOL Steven! I know nothing! (In my best Sargent Shultz voice) I found myself humming these songs while I was boxing mail today....they kinda turn into earworms!

Engeland, I think that may be what drives many of the younger women to older men, they are usually done with their education, have established a career and usually a home, car...etc. They also have gotten past the keggers for a hobby stage and know how to wine and dine, they take the time for romance....it's still all about getting laid, it's just presented with a bit more class. If I were young and single you can bet your butt I would be leaning that direction. 

I married a man 11 years my senior. He always said we are about the same emotional age. He was 30 and I was 19 when we met. Seems to have worked out OK; that was 42 years ago. 

Mine is only 6 years older than me Erika, but I am his 4th wife, he had life experience and an incredible amount of patience with the fact that I was damaged, guys my own age at that time were so abrupt and moved too fast, held on too tight, I could not breathe....so I went with older, wiser, patient. It was a good choice we have held each other up for 32 years and I think we still have a good run to go :) 

Mine was 32 years older. He had more energy and better health than I did. He said I was getting older, he was getting younger, and we'd meet in the middle.
