Today is day 1 of 30 day Vegan Challenge! I will weigh in at the end of it. This morning to my surprise, I stopped at the store after work and saw my granddaughter for the first time in 3 1/2 yrs. She had no idea who I was. She looked so sad. Like the sparkle in her eyes was gone :( I told her she was beautiful and that I love her.

My granddaughter was with her grandmother and cousin. Her cousin asked me if I knew Elexis' father died. I said yes. All my granddaughter (7) said was her dad's first name. She didn't remember my son (her dad) the last time he saw her. My son never got over it.
