Im going to a wedding shower today... pray for strength!! lol

I know the family very well and I know how healthy they eat (they're all skinny mini marathon runners!) But i know there will also be unhealthy options (Oh Lord, deliver me from cupcakes...)

I'm going to be strong today. I have a beautiful dress for this wedding that fits me now(black and gold)... But I have a STUNNING dress that my husband bought for me a few years ago that is too snug right now (Light purple). hoping it's a realistic goal to try and fit back into it for the wedding in september. Im singing during the ceremony and I don't want to feel self conscious up there. this would go a long way to making me feel more confident!

A friend took a picture of me and the bride while I was there... omg... it looks like one of those "before" pictures on one of those weight loss infomercials. *Facepalm* Did really well at the shower, luckily the temptations were in very small portions so I had 2 small squares and a chocolate covered strawberry. (And then a lunch of veggies and finger sandwiches on apple slices instead of bread :) I hope i hope i hope I get to wear the purple dress! it makes me FEEL like a bombshell. haven't felt that way in years.

You're already on your way!! You can do whatever you put your mind to and when you put on that purple dress for the wedding (I'm proclaiming it for you) you will look PHENOMENAL!!!! Then we want pictures :)

Deliver me from cupcakes. We've all made that prayer or something similar. You can do this, just keep thinking about that purple dress.
