What a cutie pie!  

HI will pray with you. Looks like he's doing the same thing as me today. Carb loading! Ask him if he'd be willing to share some of that hair with me, would you please?

LOVE LOVE his curls! And why do boys always get the great eyelashes? LOL! All of my nieces and nephews are biracial, white & black, white & hispanic, all beautiful. I worry bout them and also worry about all the younger generations and the direction our country is going. Even our highest office is about to become a joke... I hope your super cute great nephew has the best life and safety! 

Linny, I will never forget an Afro-American student I had. I had personally worked with him for years in the classroom. He had come back as a 5th year senior to graduate from high school, and after a couple of years having a personal one on one teaching situation with him, he graduated from high school, and told me I had changed his life, and for the first time, believed in himself. I went to his graduation, and celebrated with him. A few years later, I heard he had been shot and killed in the back seat of a car, in a car on car shooting. It hurt me so bad. It really changed me. I thought about his mother, and what she went through. I had trouble getting over it. I had in the past, heard of a number of my ex students shot and killed, and one time, I had a sixth grader shot 4 times in the back, from one school day to the next. All my students came to class crying, and we brought in counselors to give support to my students. This is why I am on a crusade against gun violence. I have taken guns and weapons off of students, and risked my life doing it. I was even given an Accommodation for the dangerous work I had done, at a gang infested park next door to our school, that even police didn't want to do. I can tell you this, I have seen a lot, and I know you want that beautiful boy protected. I get very tired and angry, when people say there is nothing that can be done. 

What a gorgeous child! Bless you both. 

Warren, what a horribly sad story. We want all children to succeed and follow their dreams...too much violence. I honestly believe it all begins in the home...parents have to instill self-respect and respect for others and property.  

My wife is better at interrogation than Sgt. Friday of Dragnet! That's all!

Hey Warren, I'm wondering how many here recall Sgt Friday on Dragnet....that was such a cool show. Funny, my bil is a retired cop and Easter we got in a bit of a spat because that's how he was speaking to me, Like Sgt Friday!!!! Now I think of it!!!! Thanks for the walk down memory lane. 

Just the facts, Ma'am. 

I absolutely love watching those now. It is so campy. Wouldn't life be a lot easier if we could go back to 1950? One of our parties would like to do that. lol
