Greetings my Best Buddies,
My sinus surgery went well yesterday, but I am sure out of it. I am using saline rinse and Tylenol to avoid opiate medications. I feel bloated and heavy so I know it will take a few days to feel better. I am home from work but still getting phone calls - irritating. I miss the gym...who would believe it? My food is off a little, too. I am taking antibiotics which upset my stomach. I hope I feel well by the end of the week.
Current Goals: August 5th
*Idiot Boxes consistently weigh 158 by August 5th
*Bodyfat down 1% to 22.85% (last reading 23.85%)
*Macros average: 65%-70% fat, 20-26% protein, 9% or less carbs
*NET carbs average 20 grams daily
*Lift heavier at gym – achieve new PR for weight or reps by August 5th
*Continue HIIT during cardio work
*Complete abdominal challenge at the gym – lose another inch: 32”
*Drink at least one gallon of fresh water daily
*Add bicycle ride with DH whenever possible
Long Range Goals: 2016
*Bodyfat at 20% or less
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 150-155lbs staying under goal weight
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Thanks, my Buddies! I appreciate the well wishes. I am not used to sitting and sleeping so much...but I know I have to relax. I am watching my Red Sox on TV right now!

Good to hear surgery went well and is over. U will be up and about in no time bc u take care of yourself!! You've done an amazing job with your journey of life! Carry on sister!

Oh god sinus surgery is terrible. I had those plastic things in my nose and those tampon things, had to shoot water up there 3 times a day. I lost 10 lbs during recovery, even though I was in bed the whole time. Glad yours went well. Mine was complete hell. When everything got pulled out I couldn't believe all the crap they crammed in there

Glad the surgery went well and that it's behind you. Hope your R-Sox are doing better than my Cubs in DC... I'm starting to be really aggravated. Be gentle with yourself and let yourself heal.

@downs82 - I had sinus surgery about six years ago and they used all the packing, but not this time! It was a new procedure for polyp removal. Less bleeding and no packing as far as I can tell.

Thank you all - I am doing well today. I still feel the bloat though, and the Idiot Box is up five pounds! But I know it is temporary from the medicine.
