No Bren. This time I was bending over trying to pull Carpet strips and nails out of my concrete floor. The hammer let go and catapulted me face first into the concrete. I am definitely a menace to myself these days. I don't have anyone to do these things for me anymore. If I want them done, I have to do them myself. I'm just really sore. Hugs back!!!  

Johanne, that's awful! Please rest and leave that stuff for another time. Hugs from me too.  

Oh, Bonnie, I am so sorry. I sure wish I lived closer, I would help you! Please take care of yourself, and leave that carpet tack pulling until another time. Hugs and prayers for you, my friend...love you!

Gigi, Stef, Bren, you are all so sweet. I wish you lived closer so we could have coffee together and real honest to goodness hugs once in a while. I figured out the nails. If I sit in a chair and use my foot for leverage on the other end of the hammer, it helps. I just never realized how tough nails are to get out of concrete. I've been doing two or three and then I go do something else for a few minutes. The job will get done . . . eventually. Hehe. 

Having coffee together, that would really be nice :)

Are you possibly my long lost mother??? lol This is something that would happen to me. Actually this morning I woke up and can't turn my head or lift my arm higher than my shoulder...I have no Idea what I have done. Take it easy hun! 

At first I thought maybe you went to same Body Pump class as I did. I have been feeling really sore myself. I am so sorry to hear that you are having some trouble. Is there no one around you that can help? Please be careful and take care of yourself.  

I hope you are feeling a lot better by now......

Lauren, I would love to be your long lost mom. I was probably about your age when I had my first attack of bursitis. I am happy to say I don't have them very often, sometimes years in between. When I do, I can't lift my arm higher than my shoulder, I can't turn my head and it hurts like hell. I'd bet that's what's wrong with you. The Dr. told me, "cold packs," which is totally counter intuitive, but they work. 

CD, at least you are doing something constructive to make you sore. I'm doing things TOTALLY DESTRUCTIVE. LOL. 

Yvonne, thanks. Yes, I'm finally able to move again. This morning is the first day I've felt like getting out of bed. I haven't been keeping my food journal or journaling. I didn't know what to say except, "I HURT!" LOL. I'm back. 

Oh, Jo, I am so glad that you are finally feeling better, I was really beginning to worry! Take care of yourself, my friend, and no more carpet tack pulling! And yes, next time I visit my son!! Big hugs, my friend! 

hmm.. cold packs.. yeah i went with heat.. maybe a cold pack would be better. I will have to give it a try! 

Johanne, so glad you are getting better and out of bed. Now that does not mean working on those carpet nails again. Don't do that, at least not now. Take it easy for a few more days. Let's have a cup of coffee (in thought here) and relax a bit. Hugs!
