Lol. Love the trailing question mark. I know it means anonymous, but sometimes I see those affirmations as having a question mark at the end of them. I think it might be better to say "I will strive to be the best version of myself today." That would make it active rather than static.

When I got to work this morning my boss was back. I wasn't expecting her till Monday. I told that I knew she already aware of what happened the other day. I told her exactly what happened. She responded by saying: "I have had a policy for 20 yrs that no employee without rabies shots are to touch the feral cats till told otherwise. She told me that I have seniority, I can take days off any time and she said I can change my hours in the middle of June." I said good, I don't like office gossip. So when the employees that started that crap came in I was pleasant and smiled and acted like nothing happened. To surprise them even more, I spoke kindly to each one before I walked out the door. God, I just love being nice to mean people :) ----- NM, yes. ----- FatGirlJenny, I missed you :) ---- thank you for your awesome comments everyone :)

you have discovered a terrific strategy. My best guess is that what these people want is your attention. Your smile and your love. try this bc we can't change the conduct of others, only ourselves.

Yes I do bellcurvz. I have even made my worst enemies be at peace with me. They now light up when they see me. I know there is a verse in the bible that speaks of this. I can't change the world, only myself
