After having many autoimmune and allergy tests done, I cannot eat gluten and about 70 other foods.
I am basing my diet on paleo - BUT, I am not supposed to eat coconut, or any meat except beef. I can have diary though and gluten free oats. Also I can't eat a lot of the flowers that paleo substitutes. So I guess this is a modified paleo.
I did do the paleo for several months last year and after the initial detox week where I felt crabby, angry, etc, I felt great on this meal plan and lost weight. It's just hard and requires a lot of prep.
