Last Thursday, a man tried to cause me to have a car accident over 8 times in less than a mile. He then ended up next to me at a light and proceeded to sexually harass me. I reported it to the sheriff. Result: There is nothing they can do because the creepy old man did not threaten me! I would think trying to cause an accident on purpose would be road rage. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I suspect he was connected to someone in the political scene in our county. He was way too confident in what he did to me. And how many other people has he done this to???
How did I handle that creep you wonder? All I said was while he was being so vulgar: "Isn't it a wonderful day? I forgive you and may God bless you" with a smile on my face. I may have handled myself calmly but clearly the rest of my being was so upset and felt so violated. I have never heard a man say those things to a woman before. Now, I feel worse because he got away with it and will continue to put others in harm's way with his evilness.
So, now I am embarrassed to say that when I stepped on the scale this morning at work, my weight was 153.3. That is up 13 lbs in 4 days from stress eating.
On the positive side of this whole incident is that I am so grateful that I was not in an accident. As this guy was doing this to me, I never got upset or lost control. I believe it's because of the meditations and listening to soothing music.

So sorry you or anyone else has to deal with people like this on the road. Unfortunately these kind of incidents are happening more and more frequently with some dire results from them, so I am glad no physical contact was made, other than the vulgar words. (which BTW IS NOT OK and should be stopped because I believe the person is out of control and could lead to physical injury) You handled it better than I would of for sure. I also wish law enforcement would been a little more helpful in the way they handled your complaint. Very disappointing to think they can do nothing until he actually causes an accident or hurts someone.

Hey Sugar Waffle, don't let this get to you - look at your picture and remind yourself of all the progress you've made. Listen, I can tell you stories that you would not believe. Real stories that are not only true but are wrong in the highest and most vile way. I have been witness to a lot of these things in my career. I have had the pleasure of fixing some, in the end I could not fix them all. All I can tell you is that life is not fair, not fair at all. Sometimes bad people do get away with things that are wrong. It is sad, but it does happen.

You felt violated by that horrible man and then again by the system. It is only natural that it would all trigger your emotions from the prior, more serious violations. All trauma likely creates a response that is somewhere on a spectrum that at its extreme is PTSD. The important thing here is that this time you were in a situation that allowed you to maintain some control of the situation to the fantastic extent that you did--and you did control the immediate outcome of that situation. You could have done any number of things that would have escalated the situation or put yourself at greater risk, but you protected yourself, even in distressing circumstances. That is a VICTORY for the GOOD side! Well done! I'm so glad you made it home safe. We love you here.

So sorry to hear about a creep like that!!! Unbelievable!!! I have a dashboard cam in my car now. Would have been perfect for you for evidence and to upload it onto YouTube to if not name but shame him!!!

Oh dear, sorry to hear of your ordeal. Glad you are okay now and able to rise above it. It is appalling that the law enforcement did not take his reckless driving and assaultive abuse more seriously - vehicles can be such deadly weapons.

Similar thing happened to my daughter last week -different state. I told her to drive to the police station and surprisingly he disappeared!
