Lol ya I know right... happy I rarely eat out anymore and fall into those traps 

I am chuckling about this post. In my working days I would run to Subway for a sandwich when I didn't pack a lunch for myself. I'd usually got the veggie one, passing on any of the meat choices thinking it was healthier for me. My coworkers would tease me when I got back with a "Here comes Pat with a salad on a loaf of bread from subway." Thanks for posting, as it brought back some smiles to me.  

BTW: Good for you for making your workouts about you and not what someone else thinks. Your body, your style, YOUR life. 

Ha ha ha ya back in the day when I discovered fast food I thought this was a healthy option lol!!! ....... I was never very girly, I liked playing football with the guys, liked to fight, weight lift, all that... then one day my chick friends wanted me to go shopping with them. I tried on a shirt and I thought it was nice ... but the worker there told me I should try something with sleeves because my arms were too big and I looked butch .. I was proud of my muscle till that day... suddenly I was ashamed to be strong .... so I stopped lifting... then a fews years after I didn't bike as much... then I started gaining... all because of one crappy person ... I wish I never listened to her, usually i would have just punched said person.... not sure why I didnt, guess I was trying to be a girl for once . I should have done what I enjoyed. I don't know if I'll ever have a 6 pack again or a sweet muscular back that all my guy friends were jealous of... but ill give it a shot..... lol this story just motivated me to push past soreness and do something instead of being lazy lol 

Yeah - don't give an f what others think...just what we think of ourselves and we are awesome!!!

Good point! Shows how we are programed that we must eat bread. I think it is called a sandwich, and toast the same way.

right warren?? everything "has" to be wrapped in bread for some reason... like its all gotta be hand held food... what's so wrong with a fork and knife??

Good point! It becomes so difficult to get away from the grains. Hamburgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches, not to mention muffins, and loafs.

When I get Subway I go home and take everything out of the bread and put it in one of those HungryGirl wraps. Then I throw the bread away. My husband says it's pointless of me to buy a sandwich and then throw away the bread. But I don't care. Maybe I'll just start buying a salad (not chopped, it looks chewed up) and then go home and put that in a wrap. I'll get more spinach that way. 

Hunter, I swear you resemble a movie star and I just can't quite get to the name. Every time I see your pic, I feel that I've seen that face on a movie poster. Does anyone ever say "you look just like....." and if so, who the bleep IS it?  

vickie, I think hunter looks kinda like a young Meg Tilly. Is anyone else old enough to remember her? lol. Beautiful! 

OH! Yes Rckc....that could definitely be it. And I'm more than old enough to remember her! Pretty incredible actress IMHO. I think Hunter also resembles dark haired Jennifer Lawrence too. Both absolutely gorgeous women!  

meg tilly is Chinese and irish right?? that's funny cause im irish and my husband thinks I'm part Japanese. .. I will take any of these compliments LOL !! thank you :D 

I'm Part Irish and in school I was always called the racist word for Chinese. Back then they didn't bat an eyelash to what words were used for people of different ethnic backgrounds 

the same happened to me!!! it's so awful :( ... those are the people I'd fight... I remember throwing a skin head into a ditch for saying crap like that to my friend...and.. well ok I got into a few fights like that... I just don't understand people's problem.. people evolved in a way to tolerate their environment and exposure to the sun... that's all it is... science. ...
