Apparently, I am trying to do myself in. I was laying down yesterday to try to nip this bug in the bud and was drowzing. The phone rang (it didn't really . . . I must have dreamed it). I quickly rolled over on the bed to answer it and, literally, THREW myself out of bed. My bed is really high off the floor and the floors are concrete. My chin hit the corner of the big night stand. My chest and left arm hit and then dragged down the open drawer of the night stand, demolishing the drawer. My knees hit the floor, full force. My right foot (the reconstructed one, bent inward and jammed. My right hand got jammed somehow and I ripped that thumbnail half off. This morning I am one big bruise from my chin to my toes. They aren't just bruises. They are very swollen and hurt like hell. Little, old ladies are dangerous creatures. Beware!

Z's, the only thing I could think of when I realized what had happened was, last year I would have had a problem getting myself up off the floor. Thank goodness for the weight loss.

LOL "little old ladies are dangerous creatures"! Goodness woman, you are quite talented to have done such a number on yourself just getting out of bed! Kudos to you for keeping your sense of humor. :)

Yvonne, my bed is almost that high. K, the problem is, I didn't GET out of bed. I was asleep and LAUNCHED myself out of the bed sideways. LOL. I have some lovely colors blooming "ALL OVER MA BODY!" (chuckle)
