By the time I got home from work, cleaned up the kitchen (my youngest son made dinner), started a load of laundry and then logged in my food I was starving! I was worried that with fried fish and French fries I would blow pas the 2100 calories never mind about 1675 calories. Surprise and wonder I didn't do too badly and was only 1700 something. Even though I was really wanting a spoon of frosting.... I swept the floor, looked at homework, took out the garbage and took a shower. I fell right to sleep - I did dream of food.

I will do better today maybe... so tired today another 12 hour work day. The weekend is jam packed and all I want is a clean house and a nap! I don't sleep well when the house is a mess - I keep having guilt flashes about a messy house, not enough time spent with kids, unkempt sidewalks and driveway... leaves or snow, or weeds... I REALLY WANT A CHOCOLATE FIX! Or a cheesecake.

Ok, better now. I can only do what I can for the next 12 hours and I have purged my desk of sweet sugary happy food. I will be ok. I will control my cravings. The first week of dieting is always the hardest.

Balance my dear! Tackle a few projects to ease your guilt and do indulge in a nap or some fun this weekend. you are tracking your eating and becoming aware about food consumption. Great job!

You can do it!! I agree with Island, just puck one or two projects to tackle. My house seems to have a circle of life with messy and clean rooms. I get one clean and move to the next just to have someone come behind me and make a mess. >.< lol And I fully understand needing some chocolate!! I'm keeping 60 calorie pudding cups in the fridge to help deal with cravings, and add a banana just to make it seem like more.. seems to help. Ah and whip cream, a couple tablespoons will help curb my craving sometimes and the whole can has 300 calories. O.O Anywho, stay strong, and remember the vending machine is evil, you can do it!!
