been procrastinating on this really bad ... Tuesday is slotted for my hunting prep day lots to do  

Yeah I hear ya takes a lot.we mowed the shooting lanes worked on the stands for archery and the shooting house.we have a week till opening day and we are loaded with does.been scouting the older ones out gonna take a few from the woods then off to south Ga.to whack the hogs.nothing like doggin the swine. 

nice kinda bummed I'm going to miss opening day this year for the first time since I started hunting and for years now I have shot 1 and often times two before getting down form the stand opening morning of archery but ohh well I'll be after them soon enough. Just can't get excited about hunting this year for some reason I'm sure that will change when I get my son in the stand with. a bow in his hands 2 years from now and then all that will matter is getting him on his first deer. 

Man get excited.load up come to s.ga with ol mountain,lil mountain and Ralph the mouth he will talk ya ears clean off and we will get ya in shape for the next spartan run nothing like wraslin a 350 lb pissed off hog about 10 times + over a weekend. 

Busy here too and tired.  

My husband was so looking forward to hunting season but unfortunately he did not get a tag…again… 5 years in a row he has not been able to get a tag. Here in Nevada it is a lottery. He even applied to get doe, prong horn, etc but to no avail. He is pretty bummed! 

Good morning mountain men good luck with the hunt. Is it moose or deer or other? 

ocean_girl deer and hog we are over run with both we have a high quota here.hogs all year long no limit and deer are 12 per hunter 10 does and 2 bucks restrictions on the bucks.we never take 12 as a single familyI will take 5 mature does and on the hog hunt we kill at least 30 and spilt the meat and make lots of sausage. 

Whaaa, so S. GA has hogs? I wish I knew people who hunted. I'd learn 

Hogs are everywhere all 50 states but south ga loaded north ga where I am on w nc and east tenn loaded they have 24 piglets a year private land no license or bag limit.lets go dog the hogs

Hogs have been on my list for awhile I would totally do that.

I am 45 mims north of Helen 2 + hours north of Marietta.
