My best friend of all most 30 years is leaving today to move back home to New York. I don't know how I'll get along without her. She's really my only friend.

Aw that stinks! But on the other hand, you will have a new place to go and visit. My family is from NY and I love going back. Always have to have my pizza and bagels. But make this a time for you to reinvent yourself. Get healthy, exercise, try new things. You might meet new people with the same goals. Its so much easier to stay in touch with people today. You will do fine. Change can be hard, but it can also force us to do new and different things.

Thanks Suz..she took me with her once on a visit home. It was around Ithaca, very rural area, so NY City pizza wasn't the thing around there. What was was "Speedy' s Chicken" and that was pretty amazing :-)
