You know that saying, "I wish I was as thin as I was when I thought I was fat?" I definitely had that moment today. I was trying on old clothes to see what I could get into, and at the bottom of the box was really old stuff, like 5 and 6 years old. I cannot believe how small it was! I have a new mini goal, consequently. I want to get into the shirt I wore on my first date with my husband. I am not sure how well it will work, as I'm shaped differently than I was then, having had two kids, but I'm going to shoot for it anyway!

p.s. I was going to post a picture to go along with this, a comparison shot of me in a dress this summer and me in it today, but Photobucket is down so it will have to wait!

I had the same epiphany! In high school, I weighed 150 and was 5ft 6 in. I thought I was ginormous and even had other kids calling me fat. Now eight years later and weighing 210 at 5ft 6in, I look back at my high school pictures wishing I looked like that again.

I have been called fat all my life and when I looked back at old pictures, I realized I wasn't.

Sometimes it is all a mind thing. When I was in my 20s I weighed 115 and thought I was fat because my x- husband told me so long enough that I believed it. At 5ft 3.5in I was ok for that age. I'm not sure I would want to be that thin at the age I am now. I want to be healthy and not over weight, not skinny.

yes, I understand. I used to weigh 127 pounds and thought I was fat. Crazy!
