I have one of those scales. They're not very accurate, but the best thing you can do is keep track of your trends on it and it'll give you an idea whether you're heading in the right direction or not 

Enjoy your new scale. IMHO, digital scales are more accurate than mechanical scales and give more information. As with any scale, be sure to place it on a sturdy flat surface. Avoid small tiled floors... 

I bought one of those. It never kept anything close to regular weights, I put it on the shelf and finally gave it away to a friend. It worked perfect for her. I called the seller who told me it didn't work if you have metal in your body. I have 3 joint replacements, a heart stint, breast clip to mark where cancer was removed. If yours doesn't work maybe you have too much metal in your body like me. I went back and read the original ad. It had no mention of not working with metal implants. 

i have the same one. there was always a tiny discrepancy between that one and the old one. and as far as other metrics, you will see that they always read the same no m atter what your composition actually is. I typically get another hand held electro scan as well as the skin calipers and just kinda average all the body fat percentages.  

Yeah, I noticed the app only shows historical data for weight and bmi. So those may be are the only trustworthy measures. But I'm still mad about the metabolic age. It says I'm a year older than I am(!). But I bet it goes down as my weight goes down. I may just lose extra weight to see what this scale does. How's that for motivation, lol? 

I got one a few months ago and it is great, it is on target with weight as I checked this one with the Dr office and it is true to the ounce.  

The weight is the main reason I got it, so it's good that works!
