Asking for some encouragement. how long did it take for y'all to see results? I have been working out constantly for three weeks and eating a low calorie plan, with fat and carbs at 30 percent. well, the scale hasn't moved.. I'm trying not to be discouraged.

You are gaining muscle. My scale wasn't moving and people would say I lost weight. I was working out more so your shape changes for the better.

1. It might just take more time 2. Measure your waist once a week and track your changes in waist size. If waist is smaller but weight remains the same you are building muscle and it’s ok. 3. Make sure you really are measuring everything correctly and getting your deficit right.

Slow and steady wins the race. I eat 30 grams of carbs a day due to diabetes. It is hard for me to lose weight also because I am disabled, but so far I’ve lost 21 lbs. mind you, that’s since Mid March, so it has come off very slowly. With exercising and lower calorie intake, it is going to happen soon for you. Don’t give up! Trust the process

Undereating calories when you have lot of fat on your body is relatively easy and produces results (if there is no other medical issues). However, you are 135 and wanting 125 which is on the low end where undereating calories is more likely going to cause yo-yo'ing and metablolism damage. At this stage, I would consider the type of foods you are easting, and whether you can or want to change to all natural foods, no packaged foods, added sugar, fake sugar, processed meats, takeout, etc. This will allow you to consume more calories, at least 1500 to 2000, which will be more nourishing for your body, health, and fitness. Increase protein to 100 per day and balance the protein throughout the day.

Don't lose faith. You'll see a change shortly. It is frustrating and we've probably all been through it. But as others have advised, your body IS changing even if it doesn't show on the scale. Keep up the good work!

I've been in the same boat for a while. It is hard. I haven't weighed in yet, but I am noticing that my pants are looser. It seems that I am losing inches before pounds.

Working out sometimes causes inflammation so hang in there, keep in the calorie deficit. I don't know how tall you are, but for me at 5-3, 1350 calories is base metabolic rate, so 1200 calories a day would take me at least 3 weeks to lose a pound. Good luck!

Don’t be discouraged. It took me two months to lose 2 pounds, but I have continued and now have lost 7 pounds. It takes a long time, but don’t give up.

Well, you are 135lbs, right? Weight loss doesn't come as quickly or easily as it does when you have 100lbs or more to lose. If you are at your final 10-15lbs, it is challenging. Many people won't ever get to your weight. Track everything and adjust after a few weeks. You need to find your maintenance and go from there. Don't give up!

If you are building muscle, that can be a weight gain, offsetting your fat loss. Research body recomposition. But like somebody mentioned, your weight is already so low it's going to be tougher to move that needle. Focus on high protein and building muscle and that will help reduce your body fat. Hi go low carb not low fat. That's the biggest lie of our lifetime. What do you want to do, get stronger more fit? Make sure you take measurements. Then , when exercising, like weight lifting, you can measure your success by how strong you are and how much you can lift over the weeks, months. You want to build muscle to be strong and have a better metabolism. I started losing after about a month. Now, i might lose a pound or two a month but my measurements are getting better and I'm getting stronger. Good luck!

Forget the number on the scale. How do you feel? Stronger, more energetic? We can often get fixated on the wrong markers of success. Are your close fitting differently? Those are the markers of success. You may be stressing your body too much. Too low of calories with too much exercise can actually slow or stop progress. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and recovery time between workouts. You got this!

You might need to increase your protein intake. Take your goal weight multiple that number by .8....yes, point 8. 125 x .8 equals 100. 100 grams of protein would be ideal. Also, if you're peri- menopausal or menopausal (blood test) increased protein and eating in a calorie deficit should help.

Takes a little time. Muscle weighs more than fat. I lost three pounds and it took me three weeks eating less than 1,000 calories. Used weights and walk/running

If you want to lose faster I suggest you take a weight loss pill. Fat secret has me doing about 2200 calories. I'm only eating about 1500 calories that's my body everyone's is different. I'll be honest I get hungry pains but they don't last long.

Oh, I browsed the journal entries. You've been on here for 4yrs, but only 35 posts. You seem to fade after a few months. I can understand that. Make a 100 day challenge. Decrease the calorie input and increase the output. My wife just did hers. She went from 136lbs to 119lbs.

May not be eating enough of the right foods like protein and drink lots of water. Your body is holding on to what you eat since you exercise 3 times a week and burning a lot of calories. Do some research and try different scenarios. Since everybody’s body is different, you have to find what works for you.

if your working out, likely gaining muscle AND loosing fat. Focus on how you feel. how your close feel. are you able to be active leas tired. focusing on the scale especially for women can be self defeating.
