Bfast, lunch, snacks. The yogurt is kefir, my dietician recommended it. Has a lot more probiotics than greek yogurt. I've noticed marketed improvement in my tummy happiness when switching to 1 cup kefir, 3 days per week.

I've never tried Kefir is taste and texture similar to Greek yogurt? I really like Greek yogurt but I don't eat that often if the benefits are so much more it may be worth the expense so long as I could deal with the texture issues. I like a tangier yogurt now that I've been eating Greek yogurt for year now. But don't think I have ever paid poor kefir much mind... 😂.

@leah_guffey, kefir is a probiotic drink it comes in plain I don’t recommend plain, it comes in peach flavored and strawberry flavor; those two I highly recommend. I use it in protein shakes along with oikos triple zero Greek yogurt, it has 15g of protein by itself

@Leah_guffey Kefir has a thinner texture and sometimes I drink it instead of eating it with fruit. It is tangy but maybe a little less than greek yogurt. I have lots of stomach and digestive issues, so the expense seens cheap to me considering the alternative (doctors, meds which don't work well). Having both probiotic (Kefir) and prebiotic (beans, onions, tomato, veggies, oats) makes a healthy gut and also restores good gut bacteria after antibiotics. Lots of added sugar can cause a rise in bad gut bacteria as well, so it is a big motivator for me not to eat added sugar besides causing weight gain. I eat it plain no added sugar.

I dunno, Rob, I actually prefer the plain stuff 😉 Leah -- I buy the Lifeway, and it's like a drinkable, runny yogurt, but with a little more complex flavor. I love the stuff. The plain comes in both full-fat and low fat versions. I try to prioritize getting fermented foods every day, so kefir is a regular part of the rotation

I find that the plain kefir has a more noticeable effect than the flavoured ones. I glug it down straight from the bottle every so often, depending on circumstances eg if I feel sluggish or have been eating poorly.
