I have been curious about Rao sauces and thought about trying them. Not too sure now. LOL. I like fish much better than bread.  

MORTICIA, it just tasted like chopped tomatoes, no spices. The alfredo sauce was bland also. I don't know how they can get good ratings. Blaaa, we can cook our own stuff so much better! I hope you're doing well.  

Jenjabba, thanks for the review I have always wanted to try Rao sauce but even with sales and a coupon combo it's still $5 per jar o.O yeah... not doing that... 😂. So glad to know I'm not missing anything 🤠. I guess I just had some of that fomo you always hear about. 

I'm a real weirdo I've never been a huge fan of pizza and where Ryan has managed so many pizza places I've always had access to free pizza. So it's never held much appeal honestly 🤷. I've also found that apparently I prefer types of pizza that are considered quite unusual Mediterranean vegetable with balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top with an aioli sauce on a flatbread, feta cheese and red pepper that's been roasted, roasted garlic and mushroom with alfredo sauce and spinach what can I say I'm just a weirdo, lol 😆! 

Leah haha well, what you described isn't pizza! Lol. But if you like it, GO FOR IT! 

Raos is pretty bland. I’ve found that a lot of Italian cooks don’t use a lot of herbs. I do use Raos if I’m doing low carb but add a bunch of garlic and basil. 

Yes yes I've heard Fancy pants Italian Cooks say the true Pizza must have a tomato base and use buffalo mozzarella yes I've heard the fancy cooking shows LOL. I realize that none of the types of pizza that I enjoy are technically Pizza. Btw, I don't watch very much television at all but I adore cooking shows and garden shows. Teehee, but I did say I didn't really like pizza I'll be honest with you I didn't actually have a true "Pizza" until I was an adult. As I mentioned before I grew up mostly vegetarian so what I considered pizza was actually my mom making homemade deep dish bread slathering it and homemade tomato sauce and then topping it with cheeses and then veggies I thought that was pizza. It wasn't until I came to college that I had what most people consider pizza from an actual restaurant. I was not amused 😆. 

CrashtestDawnie, 🤔🤷 Really I never knew that I absolutely adore using fresh herbs and use a lot of spices. I try to avoid using too much salt when I can particularly because am trying to reduce the amount of salt and Ryan's diet he is high blood pressure. To the cool to learn new things thank you for informing me.
