The description of that wine sounds intriguing margatyna. I‘ve never tasted dry furmint as it‘s not readily available in my area. Hope you enjoyed it thoroughly!! 🍷🍷 

It was the first time for me to try dry Furmint as well. I wasn't charmed from this particular brand, year, batch. It reminded me of the Greek Retains which, I really enjoy while in Greece. In general the Tokaji wines are not by my taste, because I don't like sweet wines, that's why I went for dry Furmint. I must taste more varieties for sure! :)

Thanks for the info. The Royal Tokaji wine I see rated sound delish but the label is slightly different. Personally, I‘m a fan of both dry and sweeter whites but the acidity of the sweeter ones must be high for balance. An apricot-glazed pork roast pairs well with the medium dry/sweet rieslings from my region. Now you have me drooling and it‘s 3am. 🤣 

You better go back to sleep and have a delightful dream about all that imaginary horn of plenty!:)
