LOL. I'm surprised it was a man. I worked with almost all women. A couple of them were like reading War and Peace. I'm not going to say too much more than that so I don't get clobbered by a purse. LOL.

MM, I don't know what kind of work you do, but I used to just nicely say, "I'm sorry, but I need quiet to be able to focus on my work." If it continued , I would stop what I was doing, look at them and nicely say, "I'm going to have to ask you to go somewhere else, I have things that must be done and I really cannot work with you here." Always nice, calm and polite, but also very firm.

I work in food service too and have one of those from time to time. Can’t get nothing done with them following me around talking my ear off. Then Im doing her job too.🙄 like shut up and do something productive!

My husband always says...dang dear..I did not hear that..I was not hanging on the content...was it work related or is the house on fire...works every time with me...

Some people are like that ! My level of tolerance stops when all they talk about is themselves…always interjecting a “me” situation into every conversation that comes up.
