My first day on the 5:2 intermittent fasting plan. I will be under 700 calories for my first day (once I have my dinner). Not bad! 🤗

what's 5:2 ? I usually only eat 2 meals max in a 4 hour or 5 window. just depends on how i feel. skipping breakfast really helps control extra calories. it just depends on how I feel.

Jen, 5:2 is basically cutting your calories to 500/600 for two unconsecutive days, and your normal diet plan daily calories the other 5. Today was my first of the 2 low days. Wasn't too hard so I'll shoot for 600 next time. I'm giving it a try! 🤗

I hope I am successful with it. If I am I have you to thank for introducing me to it. Needed to try some new approach, I sure havent been getting anywhere as is. Thank you, tjv!

Ohhhh, thanks for the explanation! I do that all the time without thinking! My calories roll up and down. It's interesting looking at the weekly calorie graph on the app. I do it sort of backwards. 2:5 🤣 at my goal, I'll try to do 5:2. You got this. The hardest part is being hungry at night. On my low days, i try to eat later in the day to hold me through the night. I might save 100 calories for a yogurt or cottage cheese if i MUST before bed.
