Have never wrote in this journal so bare with me it could be long. I am currently back to phase 1. I finished phase 2 with a loss of 19.4 lbs for the 30 days. I was very impressed by this number but, with so much to lose I would like it to go a little faster. I have a trip planned to Texas with the fiancee and kids at the end of july and would like to be noticebly smaller. My mother in law lives in texas and its a very big mexican family so I am a little worried about all of the food they cook. I have told myself time and time again, You will probably have something youre not suppose to so PORTION CONTROL is a big deal.

Now for the reason I went back to phase 1. I did so well on this diet didnt have one cheat until day 29 when the cravings got the best of me and I had 2 slices of pizza and a few pieces of cheesy bread. I didnt beat myself up over this because before fat smash I could eat 4-5 pieces of pizza along with the cheesy bread. So I was a little disappointed but I didnt regret it. I did however feel that I needed to go back to phase 1 to kick my weightloss in the butt. So that is what I did.

I rave about this diet to everyone I know. I truely feel that if you stick to it then it will be the best thing you have ever done. I do believe you should be calling it a lifestyle change by this time instead of a diet however because that is what it is. It isnt a diet it is a way of life and the sooner you get that the better you will do on it.

Hey Shae! Congratulations on such a dramatic weight loss and for staying with your plan. It's great that you also didn't beat yourself up for indulging a little. That's all it was, a little indulgence. You're on the right track with Portion Control, it's going to be key. Don't forget you have the power to control your appetite as well. Have a light snack of fruits and vegetables before your main meal, so you don't eat as much at the table and you're not starving. Also, walk after dinner if you can, that will also help your metabolism. Enjoy Texas and come back to share great news with us!
