Oops. I apparently deleted an entire entry thinking that it was a duplicate. People have already commented, so the entire gist was that I screwed up in my diet by actually eating. Don't worry, though...


I've begun to make a list of rules for dieting.

1. Don't die.
2. Weigh before doing anything to see what effect it has on your weight.
3. Dieting is hard, don't give up. Make friends.
4. Don't eat.



I've started on an all liquid diet, and you, my friends, will witness the power of the liquid diet!

Trinity, seems like your all over the place and really haven't committed to a plan that your willing to stick with.. Changing a diet/plan only after a few days isn't really the best way to lose weight and of course your gonna feel like sh!t the 1st week or so on Atkins but that's true on any diet. Low carb doesn't slow your metabolism, that yucky feeling you get is your body detoxing from all the carbage and it will take days or even up to two weeks for that feeling to go away bc your body is addicted to crap. And you absolutely have to stop sabotaging yourself and cheating or your never gonna lose any weight. Please take this as advice from some one whose been there and back several times..And you've got to stop weighting yourself every other hour... Its not going to help you journey one bit and seeing that constant gain after each time you eat will eventually discourage you from trying at all..What ever you decide is ultimately up to you and I wish you the best of luck and will continue to support you no matter what plan you on.. Hang in there.. it gets easier with time.

Red is on point. You ever hear the saying, "you can't see the forest for the trees"? Sounds like you're stuck in the middle of The Big Thicket, you got to get out of there before you drown, but it's going to take patience and resolution. You can do it, but it won't happen fast.

Sugar withdrawals is like any drug withdrawal . Your going to fell like crap , it takes time. You have to stay on one diet plan and adjust it as you go.

I would say I agree with everything that redgirl1974 just said, except that would redundant (or did I just do that). A few extra things, your previous comments on muscle were wrong, but I'll focus on the shakes. I am a big proponent of shakes add a dirty for up to 8 weeks. I have a co worker on shakes only and he lost 80lbs in 8 weeks before transition to a better more sustainable plan. The problem is your shakes. The Premier Protein shakes are not that great, why.... Poor vitamin profile, no omega-3's, no amino acid profile, no probiotics or digestive enzymes. Compare Premier Protein vs Nature's Bounty, Complete Vitamin Shake Mix. Nature's Bounty is nutrient dense, premier protein is not. You're hoping something will work, with no understanding as to why, that's not a recipe for long term success.

Don't you love autocorrect.ugh..... Means nothing, shakes for up to 8 weeks is fine, so long as the shakes are nutritionally sound, and there is a plan for what to do afterwards. When it comes to weight loss, diet, exercise, planning is all that works, haphazard approaches simply waste time and leave you frustrated.
