I bought a piece of cake from the supermarket. That cake is now in the garbage. Then I went to the Italian bakery and bought a cannoli (like I should have done from the get-go). Don't be like me; go to the bakery. lol

WindyD, oh heck no! I ate the cannoli!!! That supermarket cake was the worst. I have had store-bought cake before that tasted great. But this stuff was the pits.

DAZEY_iz_Well, back when I was pregnant with my first, I bought a cannoli and was so excited to eat it, but I had to go to work. So I left it in the fridge. When I came home that night (NYC public transportation while pregnant will make you wish you owned a flame-thrower) I REALLY wanted that cannoli, I mean REALLY wanted it. But that is when I found out my nephew ate it. I flipped the F&*@ out. 😂 He still remembers that day... ha ha ha

Oh ok, I was going to say whuuuuut?! Lol. One of life's little pleasures is a chocolate chip or pistachio cannoli...or rum cake .. Or any Italian pastry for that matter 😂🥰 😋

WindyD, there is a little bakery in my neighborhood and their pastries are great. Something tells me once I head to PA or NC, that that'll be the end of the cute little Italian bakeries. What do you think?

There used to be the greatest one in Massachusetts where I grew up. Used to get their rum and fruit and cream cakes and rum pastries, omg. Soo good. Yeah you dont find too many this way I dont think. I cant say for sure. Maybe in the bigger cities?

Windy Day, was it Mike's in Little Italy? Best bakery I've ever been to. The second was Roma in Lansing, MI. Cannoli and pizzelle...yumm.

store bought cake lives matter too. I actually had some store bought cake yesterday that was surprisingly good. part of it may be that I haven't had cake in a really long time though
