I'm so glad I came on line today, because I saw a journal entry from someone who has been on Fatsecret for 5 years and lost 105 pounds. She's still here, still working on it, and it made me realize that I need to stick with this community, even when I have a week that doesn't qualify as a "diet." I want to lose 60 pounds. I'm expecting it to take me 18 months -- that's about 3.3 pounds per month. I know it's do-able. I have done it before. Twice. And I want this to be the last time. Enough already. I'm getting old now, and I don't want to be immobilized in my last decades because I can't manage to do this 18 months!
