went to eat with my sisters at O'Charleys. we were on a dinner break from moms at rehab. i felt so lost there without my laptop and FS! good thing ive learned a bit about calories and such over the last few weeks. i couldnt find anything i felt safe enough to eat without looking it up lol. i saw they had some teriyaki chicken but had no idea about the sauce so i said no to that! i ended up with a california shrimp salad. i asked for it with no blue cheese (which i cant stand anyway) and gave my sister the candied or sugared pecans (i ate one! lol). so on the salad i had a huge bed of spring mix greens, strawberries, a few mandarins and dried cranberries and about 6 grilled shrimp. i stuck with the balsamic vinaigrette because the server said that was the best calorie wise for my diet. they had no other low calorie dressings except for lite ranch. Boo to O'Charleys for that. When i got home i looked up the salad....a whopping 700 calories if i had eaten the whole thing as is!!! WOW.... i logged everything individually the best i could and didnt eat much of the dressing. when i weighed myself this morning i was back down to 163 even though i added another 100 calories to my diet on the advice of my buddy Skinny! Thanks Skinny!

:-) way to go girl.... Food can be so deceiving, you think you are eating a low calorie meal, and then you find it's quite the opposite. Done that lots of times myself - especially when I have ordered a salad and it comes up with an oil ladened dressing. Anyway... It didn't do you any harm :-)
