So do you have any advice for overcoming fear. I live in constant fear after a lifetime of trauma. I need it to end.

TRachael, I am so sorry to know that you suffer. ❤️‍🩹 I still do experience fear, but it does not have as much of an impact; it does not become my lived experience. It feels like a memory of fear. I was able to get control by allowing fear in, in small doses. I needed to understand what caused my fear. Once I did, I realized that it was illusory because I was alive. It was a form of PTSD... a nervous system response. I had to acknowledge the cause of fear and dismantle it with logic. I taught myself to identify and eventually control the thoughts that led to panic. The thoughts still come; and in a safe place, they must be allowed in. But they can't hurt you, really. They can't hurt you.
