I want SO BADLY to be below 300 for my birthday, which is 3 weeks from yesterday. I'm scared I don't have enough time to lose 12 lbs by then since I've been losing at a slower rate recently. However, I'm going to be pain stakingly disciplined with the Lord's help. Last night went with hubby and kids to watch Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. So cute! It really was funny. What wasn't funny was how much popcorn and raisinets I had lol. But I just barely went over calories and I have been pretty on-task so I figured I deserved to go easy on myself and deserve a treat. Plus I did go to the gym early yesterday morning so that'll help. Gym again after work today, and then a nice relaxing evening with my love. Tomorrow morning back in the gym, then some more calorie burning in the form of grocery shopping and house cleaning. Yippee! (Gee... why is it that weekends seemed so much easier before I was married? LOL). God had been good to me, and I know He's going to help me stay strong and reach my goals. I've never been this determined before, nor motivated and successful. This time is different. This time it's real.

I forgot to mention that I ordered some awesome new Nikes today and am SO excited about them. My pink shox are getting worn so I ordered some new black/silver ones. Chem 'em out:

4lbs a week is challenging to do... i would say keep as busy as you can to take your mind off food. and if you find yourself with some free time, put some music on and dance around - sounds silly but keeps you excercising and busy :D good luck

Don't worry so much about the #s or losing so quickly. Slow and steady is the best way to lose and keep it off. You'll be much slimmer for your Bday than in the past, you can feel great about that! But if your mindset is like, "I won't be happy, unless I am 12 lbs lighter". You're not going to be giving yourself the much deserved credit for how much you have actually done to improve your health and body! You can't be too hard on yourself, losing weight is really difficult! You have done so well already!
