Burnito, thank you💙 Their mother (my then sister in law) passed away in 2005. Since then I have had an opportunity to learn a great deal about myself through taking care of them. They have returned the gift several times over already. The youngest just left here after a brief visit. He lived with me the longest and is totally my baby! ha ha ha💙

Burnitu9, many thanks, my friend. At the time, I remember just feeling so lost. The youngest was deeply troubled. It was tough. But because it was tough, I sought help. At first, I went to the person I trusted the most, my grandma. But I needed more help than she could give. I read. I complained 😅 Eventually, I found the resources within myself and that strength helped me manage my emotions with him and was the beginning of so much personal healing. Now, we are truly mother and son even though he is not of my body, it matters not. He is my baby, always. Thank you for an opportunity to share my love for whom I affectionately refer to as #3. As in, the 3rd of 5 young people I've been lucky enough to love.
