Stormy, yes! Except, I just cook a lot and tend not to worry much about things being a certain way on Christmas day. I just will have a lot of yummy food. The presentation won't be 'just so.' But I've never cared about that sort of thing. So long as I have the good food, it is ok for none of the cups to match!

So last night, I had a piece of that apple pie.... I don't save it for Christmas day. It was delish! I will make sure there are plenty of goodies to share on the day, though.

@Unity…I would definitely eat a piece early! My early treats have been a few dark chocolate 🍫 Pirouline cream filled wafers! I get those every Christmas. No one in our family cares about matching cups either, I just make sure the food is homemade & delicious on Christmas! Fortunately, all of us Storms girls are good cooks! 😁 My oldest daughter has never made a dish I didn’t LOVE! She’s a talented cook! She’s mainly vegetarian and rarely eats meat so I’m making an orzo, cherry tomato, mushroom, broccoli, cheese, garlic dish for her.

I also enjoy some things before the Holiday. Easier on the digestion system to spread it out over a few days. lol

Stormy! How awesome that your crew is a cookin' crew! I may not be vegetarian but I definitely understand that there is really no such thing as a bad vegetable, and luckily I'm not allergic to anything. So beans, nuts and seeds are always on my menu. 💙 And yes, by jove! I'll have my cake and I'll eat it too😂

You're so sweet, Unity! Been quite a week with everything going on. It is good to be back with you all. Your cake looks very moist and delicious! Those carrots are a bummer grating by hand lol - ask me, I know!! :D
