Happy almost Christmas! Is it just me but it doesnt feel like Christmas or almost Christmas. Every since buy gift went virtual and online... things have changed, then Covid made it worse. I miss the in store shopping and wrapping of gifts. I considered doing it myself but OMG! Shipping is astronomical! I shipped a very light box barely 2lbs and it cost $60 for next day air but only guarenteed 2nd day delivery. It could have cost $38 for 2 day delivery but the couldnt guarentee any date. Shipping direct from the shop is sooo much less. I miss old Christmas days.

It's sad. I've been to the mall a few times over the past week. Couldn't count more than a dozen people including sales associates. No lines, but no Santa 🎅, no Christmas music 🎼🎶 carolers. Christmas shopping at the mall isn't fun anymore. and When did shipping our own gifts get so expensive? or was it always

I just has to mail a brown vanilla envelope to a place that's 30 min from us which this was sat and it had to be returned by Monday and we could not just hand deliver it, cost 28.00 to overnight it for Monday delivery it's sad and awful how much things have went up...

@liv it wasn’t always this expensive to ship. I’ve always had to ship gifts since my family and friends lives far away. I think it’s because of the demand.

@sara yep I just went to fedex and returned a box that was delivered to me by accident. Worse is u tried to call fedex toll free number and got med alert… I’ve had the package for a week and just gave up and found a location to give it back to. Hopefully they can return it to sender. I saw it was a gift.

I wonder if 'forever' stamps are still any good? Grandmother used to give a roll of stamps out for Christmas along with paper and envelopes.
