Well a bout of depression and self loathing has me at a pretty low bottom and heavier than I have been in a long time. I finally on a scale. Here’s to picking up the pieces and getting back up to kick life’s booty once again. 🫶 So grateful for each and every one of you no matter what reason you are here. It’s really great to have the support and encouragement.

I like to run but I can read between the lines. There is a decent chance that I will have to stop at some point. 😁😅 You are brave and you persevere. That is a great combination.

Are you still working nights? That is such an ass kicker. Can you sleep during the day? Sleep is a large component of weight loss and maintenance. Deal with your self loathing and depression issues. Get help if you haven’t done so already. Stay with this community. FYI, not that it matters, but I’m not a big believer in extensive fasting. Our bodies need nutrients in order to function and maintain strong bones. A nurse, on nights? You need every advantage you can get to stay alert, and brain functioning. Fasting for women is different than for men, it is not a one size fits all. At every age, the body has different requirements. In a perfect world, I would like to eat two meals a day but I do three and that works ok. I don’t snack— almost never. An occasional dessert after dinner. So in essence I eat between 4 am— 6pm and that is it.
