Chess, we are here for you! If you can try to take one step at a time and just change one thing a week that will point you in the right direction that would make you feel so much better. Just know that you are worth the effort - it's hard, but it is always worth it. I think if you aren't already doing your daily walks then trying to get back to just a few minutes a day or one or two walks a week would help you to clear your mind and start to get you back on track. Baby steps. All the best to you! xxx

That is a horrific post djgeek, you should remove it. Everyone's fight is unique to them and giving up any addiction is difficult.  

You shouldn't condemn someone's post as if there is no truth in it. There is a girl on this forum who also posts are all about looking for sympathy for herself, never a positive post . It's a forum to encourage and share ideas to hopefully lose weight. Some people use the forum as an agony aunt column to tell you all the bad things about their lives and family. Not sure what this has to do with losing weight.So if you're going to put post up like that you should expect feedback use the forum for what it's suppose to be used for losing weight and share ideas to help other users to meet their goals.

@djgeek This platform does not condone this kind of talk, we speak with kindness and respect. @Wee Jock weight issues, mental health issues, emotional states can all go hand in hand maybe instead of putting someone down for sharing their feelings, daily life, which may lead to them emotionally eating later, maybe you should give them some of the support and encouragement you spoke of instead.
