I was finally getting a good night's sleep. I think I was dreaming and all of a sudden Bobby started barking like crazy at 4:30am. He ran to the front door and kept barking. My front door has a huge window on the top half so I don't like going to the door in the middle of the night or this early in the morning because if someone is there they can see me. So I made sure there was no light on inside and towards the door and didn't see anyone. Bobby was still barking. Looked outside and the porch kitty was there looking at me. I said " hi Sweety Pie" and Bobby stopped barking. The cat must have jumped off a chair or something and made a noise that woke Bobby up. So I fed her and then tried to get back to sleep. No luck. I weighed myself and I'm up 2 pounds since Sunday. I may do just liquids for the next couple of days so I don't have a gain when I post my weight on Sunday. Tomato soup is okay when I do just liquids

Bobby was watching out for you and he was ok when you confirmed it was porch kitty! Clever Bobby!

Thanks Morticia. A few gears ago it was pitch dark at 5am,power was out and there was loud pounding on the front door. It was a neighbor telling me we were being evacuated because of a fire.

Thanks cjgriffith, Bobby is a good watch dog. Porch kitty usually creeps onto the porch before it gets light in the morning and just before dark in the evening. Bobby pays no attention to her so she must have made some kind of noise. If there had been anything else out front she wouldn't have come to the porch. She watches out for skunks and foxes, etc.

Thanks Diana. I am often up way too early - yesterday I was up at 4. It was just so rare to be sound asleep at 4:30. No nap today but I go to bed early. You are easy to support, you share so much about your workouts and goals we all want you to succeed with your goals and for your health that you work so hard at.

Fritzy, when I want to keep my calorie count low, I make cabbage soup (which includes lots of other veggies too). Very filling and low in calories, so I don't have to go hungry.

Thanks Shir, it's just too hot for cooking right now. I do make a vegetable soup a few times a year that is low in calories. I sometimes like having no solid food for a day or 2.
