Hubby has had both knees replaced and his incisions aren't nearly as long as yours. Wonder what the difference is. Hope your recovery is speedy and complete. 

I hope that you have a follow up appointment with the surgeon. At least then you will know if your knee is healing properly. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Good morning Debbie, I commend you with going through that surgery. I pray you have a short recovery. Please be aggressive with the exercise with the cream on the knee and the icing and elevating the physical therapy. I’m sure as you know is extremely important. my husband was religious doing it every single day and he recovered quite quickly. I hope the same for you.

Hey Deb I feel ya..I had BOTH knees done same time, 5 yrs ago this month..4 months before surgery I started exersizing and doing stationary bike 3-4 times a wk and lots of leg lifts..after having both done same time I only did rehab whilein the hospital and didnt have to do it afterwards..but I feel your pain..I will say a prayer for you to heal fast...Jst keep on with your leg bends ect while laying, and I know its weird but its painful doing them so I would sing..it helps get thru the painful parts...and dont sit more than 45 min at a time..move them knees when ya can and keep moving yrs later!

Yep thats the gift you get after a surgery like that but it will heal and fade. How are you doing with the exercise, water and protein intake. Ive had a couple days that were hard for me with protein intake but keep on keeping on  

Whoa! That's a serious scar. I wish you good healing. - and getting back to your walking. 

Cellulitis. Antibiotic 4x/day for a week. Have to cut back some on walking til this resolves. Had to take 1/2 Oxy just now after 7.5 pain level since 4am. I don’t even feel like recording my food today (but I will, since I’ve been doing it EVERY meal since 6/23/22).
