One bunch of Swiss chard wash and dice. One Idaho potato, peeled 2 cups of brown lentils, wash and remove any stones that float to the top . 6 cups of cold water juice of two fresh lemons, one head of garlic, peeled 3 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.

Place lentils and water in stock pot and cook till halfway tender. Add chard and potatoes till cooked then add lemon juice wait until you see the broth color change ,then in a separate pot, fry the garlic in olive oil on low heat. Make sure it’s only lightly browned. Do not char the garlic. You will get a very bitter soup if you do ,wait till the oil cools down then add to soup with garlic, seasoned with salt and pepper and enjoy.❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️🙏🙏🙏
