Finally checking in. Went camping up in the Jemez area. Spent one day in Santa Fe, lit a candle for my mother, on her birthday, at the cathedral and had birthday meal with friends. New adventure was visiting Puye Cliffs. ♡

Bec, I am one of three girls, my older sister and I were a team, and we watched over and protected our younger sister. Three can be a good number. 😉

Shir, I think it was more of a sarcastic remark, complaining about have 3 kids. Your childhood and growing up years with your sisters sounds wonderful. I'm very close to my only sister. We have a bond like no other. 💕

Sweet Melissa, thank you! 💕 No plans for a Seattle trip anytime soon, but maybe in a couple years. Our daughter is usually traveling for work, so we would have to coordinate with her. When we do, you will certainly be the first to know. Our time together, that fall day, was one of the most peaceful afternoons I've ever had. 💖

Kenna, yes, La Fonda is a beautiful hotel. I do like to visit the smaller towns/villages throughout New Mexico. So much history and beauty.

Bec, I know what you mean. My older sister and I have always been close. She taught me to read, she taught me to dance, she's the reason I live in Houston, she has always been there for me, my forever best friend.

Gib, thank you! 💕 The 2 times I got in a good little workout, for me anyway, was when the shuttle from Bandelier didn't stop at our campground and instead dropped us off at the front gate and we walked back to our campsite and then when we hiked down from the ruins at Puye Cliffs; it was very narrow and steep and the ladder was pretty high. My legs were a bit wobbly after Puye, but it was worth it. 😄
