Hey guys! Another NSV, The photo is probably TMI and kinda nasty since I have not been shaving this leg since this huge purple blotch appeared and it looked like it may turn into an ulcer. But what I wanted to show you is the area the blotch used to take up. The center of the green highlight was completely dark purple all the way across now the center has lightened significantly, there is still a tiny darker blotch to the right and the larger blotch to the left. This is why I have been getting into the compression socks daily and one of the motivator's to get my weight back down. My Doc gave it a tentative diagnosis of stasis dermatitis but I have an appointment in September to see a Dermatologist who specializes in veins. It has improved so much. IDK if it's the stockings, the exercise, the autophagy, the weight loss or a combination of all the above but I am so thankful for all of it right now because this is an improvement that I can see, touch and feel!! Thanks again for all of the love and support you all have given me. I seriously could not do it without you!!!!

Thanks Zen, I keep it covered up so much with the stockings that I had not really paid any attention to it, so this morning after my shower I was trying to get it dry to put on stockings and went.....well I'll be damned look at that, gotta share!

I'm hoping Erika! After the 6,000 I laid out for my eye surgery. I don't want to have to have a series of laser surgeries for varicose veins if I can fix it some other way. I have great health insurance, but those surgeries always have all of these hidden costs that the insurance companies don't allow and they make you pay those up front before you even get the surgery. Hubby had a whole knee replacement then a disc fusion and I had eye surgery.....I am tapped out and my CC's are maxed out ATM!

Yeah! I'm thinking it's the result of this fast, if it had been improved prior....I'm fairly certain I would have noticed it....I mean, I pull those damn stockings on and off every 12 hours. I think I would have noticed!
