Happy Independence Day my fellow Americans!!! Due to staying home Sunday to play catchup on chores, I failed to do my weekly shopping. So the pickings are slim for todays feast. We are cooking venison burgers (he got the tank filled yesterday) I still have some lettuce and a few tomatoes and a couple of canned items. So he will have actual burgers and I will have mine on top of a mountain of lettuce. I miss having my own chickens because now I am completely out of eggs! Breakfast was a simple pear (so good!) We tackled the other tree today and only got about an hour of picking done before we pooped out! Going to the grocery today is out of the question. I will run over there in the morning. We live in an area where the favorite pass-time is to drink and ride the dirt roads, so drinking holidays we stay home because there are a whole lot more of them then there are of us. LOL! I don't begrudge their fun, but they put people in danger and LEO's are outnumbered too! So I won't be hitting my RDI today, nor did I hit it yesterday. That may or may not be a bad thing, just have to wait and see!
