You gain muscle before you lose weight, right? ....Right?? Week 2 of cycling every day of the week. I do like 15mph every time for an hour. I'm covered in sweat afterwards. Slightly discouraged, but more disconnected from feelings this weigh in. Can't say it hurts or feels good. I know getting back in a bikini will take some time. But maybe I shouldn't weigh in each week. 🩷

This is my problem. First you tell someone they are making a "mistake." Then you go about using anecdotal evidence to support your claim. You are giving out bad advice, and you are better off not giving advice than giving bad advice. Telling someone they are doing it wrong. Then you create a straw man argument, calling it a "leisurely bike ride" when this individual said they ended their workout covered in sweat. I said it didn't sound like Zone 2 cardio, because to me it sounds like they were in Zone 3. So what do I think? I think you should stop giving advice. If you said, 'this is what worked for me' I wouldn't have a problem because you would be phrasing your opinion as anecdotal, but telling someone they are doing it wrong is presumptuous.

Zone doesn't matter. Maybe take your own advice. I've only been doing this for 23 years. Go do some more of your shit posting instead of acting like you know what you're talking about.

People are so offended by actual advice that will make a difference. If all we do is offer support we get nowhere when someone has encountered an issue. 2+ months with no loss but an actual gain when the goal is loss means we need to stop sugarcoating everything. She asked a question and seems confused.

She was 202 in April. It's June. It's just fat loss advice not advice on how to treat her diabetes, calm down, Max.

You guys🤔. This site is actually meant for help and advice. Whomever is reading it can take the advice or discard it. This is still America last i checked so free will etc. i personally, appreciate the advice i have received from many people including diablo. It’s just advice max, it’s not a prescription or diagnosis. For example, i was offered advice to double my calories for a week. Now, i have underlying medical deficiencies that i know if i took that advice i would gain weight quickly. So I didn’t take that advice. See how that works? No one should be getting riled up over help that is being offered. Take it or dont. It’s just an opinion. Some can be backed up anecdotally, or thru publications others cannot. I want to say a big shout out THANK YOU to all those who have freely proffered their thoughts when i have asked questions. Sheesh.

Also 3lb at your current weight could be simple daily fluctuations unless you weight your self at the same time everyday.
