Almost thought that orange was a sugar donut for a minute! Note to self, keep resisting temptation... 🤣🤣🤣 

Hey you got this!! Resist! And it’s actually a grapefruit. It was an odd color this time. Maybe out of season? I’m not too familiar with grapefruits lol.  

I shall keep resisting! I know nothing of grapefruit season but seriously can't wait for my favorite fruit season... lychee season!!! 😋 

I’ve never tried a lychee! May need to try to find some locally if possible.  

They're soooooooooooooo good! They're native to Asia so definitely try your local Asian grocery store. I forget when they're ripe but I'm always on the lookout. Just don't eat the seed or outer shell.

They're sweet with a floral taste (I liken it to roses)... if you like lychee, you might also like longans and/or rambutans. All 3 are related fruits, all 3 have a hard leather-like shell, and all 3 have inedible seeds. All are sweet; longans kinda have this a sorta creamy sweet taste that's dragonfruit-adjacent, and rambutans have a cherry-like flavor. Idk what the health benefits are but they're my guilty pleasure. lol 

I mean they can’t be TOO bad for you being fruits right? Lol 

Yeah, they're relatively small too. Makes it a little easier to portion out. lol
