Sk 17 _ I had to google on What is difference between skate and ray? In their reproductive strategies - Rays are live bearing (viviparous) while skates are egg laying (oviparous), releasing their eggs in hard rectangular cases sometimes called “mermaid's purses”. I'm amazed ! 

Livin_Breezy - I luv adventuring on seafood varieties as long as they don't stab & sting me LoL.. Have you tried shark fin soup yet?

Please don't eat stingrays! Have you ever seen the processing of them from Japan, so sad. 

May have 🤔 There was a Japanese Restaurant I frequented some years ago. They had an unusual menu for the typical American (I loved it there). As for shark, we caught our own off the coast! Tastes like scallop 😋🤣  

Sorry I can't handle the idea of people killing stingrays. They are beautiful and they have eyes like jersey cows. All big and dreamy. go you for eating fish but I'm really sad it was a stingray. 

Thrasher Shark is my all time favorite fish. They used to sell it in the big coastal fish markets. I think that they have banned it. Haven’t had any in years.
