Hovering just above 200 again. I was eating nachos with cheese and sausage there for a couple days - just 7 tortilla chips, but it adds up. Have also increased my breakfast calories. Instead of having just one piece of Dave’s Killer Bread toasted with butter (sometimes two slices), I have added a bowl of oatmeal with butter, sugar, raisins, milk & pecans. Makes breakfast over 600 calories.
As far as my daughter and grandkids being evicted, my husband talked to the church Trustees, and it LOOKS like they will approve it (my husband is a Pastor, and we live in the church parsonage). Next, it goes before the Finance Committee to see how much they will have to charge for water, sewer and electricity. We are a very small church, and can’t take on any additional expenses.

I’m writing in Comments because on the app, you can’t see what you’re writing after you’ve entered a certain number of characters. If the Finance Committee approves it, it will go before the church for a vote.
My daughter has only been working one day a week, because Jack’s father wouldn’t let her work any more. After her birthday (4/30), she’s going to talk to her boss, who had said she will give her as many hours as she wants. There’s a Manager position opening in May, and she might be able to get that. Of course, all the time she works, we will have to be watching the kids. If she’s able to work days, at least until school gets out, that would make it easier on us since the kids would be at school 7 hours a day.
Having a birthday dinner for daughter on 5/1. Menu is Jewish Chicken, Parsleyed Potatoes, Zucchini Pie (MIL making that), Lincoln Logs (hard breadsticks spiraled in bacon, microwaved then rolled in Parmesan cheese - a PAIN to make, but it’s her favorite), Chocolate Bar Cake and Ice Cream. I’ll be on my feet (and knees!) for several hours on Monday preparing everything.
Ok, time to get walking. Today is my 14th day of walking 3-1/2 miles a day. Been walking every day for over six months now!!! I’m thankful that the Lord has enabled me to do it, especially with my bad knees.
