Today will be work in the yard once the dew dries, probably no gym until a weekday. Heavy rain is predicted for later in the day and tonight.

I need to trim back the bolted greens in the bed. I decided to take those chop them and make a greens soup, no need to waste all that goodness. I also need to do a bit of cooking later so I'm a bit ahead for the week.

Nice morning sitting on the patio (thanks to Glen) drinking my coffee enjoying the breeze and the peacefulness.

To make my 70,000 step goal I need to get in like 18,000 steps today!! Sheesh, not sure I will make that!

Time for a shower and to get my body moving for the day.

Sitting on the patio sounds luxurious....we have a nice porch on the back of our house that often beckons me in the wee hours of morning...first light! 18,000 steps--wow! I know that is not in my realm of possibilities for one day! Maybe someday and maybe not! Heard rain was coming your way...we are supposed to get some again this week in West Texas. Really don't need it until all the cotton is planted but if God decides this week, our desert region will just have to accept it graciously. We were in a drought for the past four years so... Enjoy your day!

Gwen, a front porch is in my plans but not started yet, have the inside to finish re-doing first. A cheap option instead of a deck was landscape timbers filled with mulch, a grandson decided it should be octagon and since they were helping me build it that's what we did. last year crazy pup decided her job was to pull all of the weed block fabric out and shred it all over the yard, it was her winter project!! So $1.29 red patio stones were my cheap answer. The timbers are no longer there as it's easier to mow. So about $100.00 and lots of weight lifting I have a nice patio under my maple tree.

I spent some time yesterday afternoon out on the patio, reading a book and sipping my coffee. The birds were singing. The breeze was blowing. It was so pleasant. :)

Sorry to hear your pup is so destructive. I have quite a list of the items mine has destroyed! BTW - keep us posted on those goba bushes!

The Goji bushes are planted in the mud. Crazy pup is actually pretty good, she just decided that was her job. LOL. She worked really hard on it all winter. Gave me the excuse to do the stones that I had decided I was going to sometime.

Enjoy your bike ride! I just don't think of going out there in the am. Must do that more often .
