So, I cannot remember the last time I made a journal entry. It had taken 17 months but on Thursday? January 19, 2023, I had gastric sleeve surgery. I just completed week 9 postop. I’ve lost exact 60 lbs in 9 weeks. That’s 6.6 lbs/week. This is not a cure. It’s more like a coach. I haven’t had sugar, soda, or caffeine since 1/18. I don’t know if I want to set a goal weight. I’m going to go a low as the surgery will allow. Wish me luck. 😉

Hockeypuc— why are you not losing like he is? Did you miss the part of his post where he stated that he had gastric sleeve surgery.? I think you haven’t unless you just did t mention it.

Good luck! I think its good your just gonna continue on until you feel healthy. I was too chicken to have the surgery done on myself. no food pun intended lol. You are very brave. keep sharing your stories on here and watch how your body transforms on your journey. It is so exciting. I found this a very encouraging place to be.
