So.. here's the thing with adding back 30-50 carbs a day. Weight loss pretty much stalled even though calories essentially stayed the same. While I see some muscle gains, my loss went from 2 lbs a week to zip for about a month now.
The worst part though is that my hunger has increased quite a bit. I am finding myself snacking again and where before I was good with a salad and some protein for dinner now I am ravenous again and some health issues are returning as well.

I am going back to the LCHF again for awhile and see if that pushes me past this. Really, thats exactly why I tried it in the first place, the high carb low fat was not taking pounds off, only maintaining. Fueling my running takes a back seat to losing this last 30 lbs.

While the debate rages about which is the 'healthier' diet I find that, for me, LCHF works for weight loss and less inflammation.

Do you eat fish? I sometimes treat myself to cod fish dipped in egg and I "bread it" with a mixture of arrowroot flour and almond meal with pepper and salt then I either bake them in the oven or fry them in coconut oil in the pan. they come out just as good as regular breaded fish. So yummy this can also be done for chicken

Check out Trim Healthy Mama - their plan keeps you using EITHER low carb or low fat meals, no "cross-contamination" - I've lost 30 pounds since February.

Garbanzo bean flour is also terrific for breading fish or chicken

Fish is very very expensive here. I am hours from the coast. Plus my kids freak out at the smell lol. But thats not a bad idea to bread some chicken ahead and I can throw it in the toaster oven after the boys settle down from dinner.

I have not looked at your menu (am feeding off HCB's comment). But thought I'd mention that it was mainly the addition of wheat that caused my 6 pound gain over Memorial Day Weekend. Am sure you'll get this tweaked so you can enjoy the best of both worlds (weight loss and physical fitness).
