Damn...they are price gouging chicken now. It went from $4.50 to $6.50 per pound. That's an extra $120/mth on my food bill. 😔

that's messed up my mom called me a few minutes ago about a chicken sale 1.99 a pound for boneless skinless chicken breast i told her to buy as much as she could carry for me 😄

Your health is worth it. Its the most precious thing you have and people really do not value it enough to pay farmers properly to provide good healthy food sources, yet they will pay for nikes etc.. very strange.

Cost of living is getting terrible here. Thousands of Californians have been moving here each year and driving up housing prices (now starting at $550k). Our grocery stores and fast food starting rate is $19-$22/hr now and that drove up food prices. Our gas prices are even within 10 cents of San Francisco. We used to be one of the cheaper states for gas and it was an amazing place to live with affordable housing. Now, unless you make $12k/mth, you won't be able to buy a house. I feel bad for my kids. Rent starts at $1750 for a 500sqft apartment. It was $850 10 years ago when my wife and I had one. And 15 miles north, in Denver, the housing is almost twice as much as my area.
