You are correct— increasing physical activity in a meaningful way is a key component to not only weight loss but of maintenance.

I need to come up with an exercise plan. I have a 20 minute PT routine I do each morning, and bike at night so I can sleep. I think I need to talk to someone about setting up an exercise plan that I can do regularly.

Also, after I ate the veggies, I realized I want hungry anymore so I ate the salad for dinner😊

Sometimes not losing anything in a week happens. You might lose some weight this week. Just keep going. If you don't loose weight for a while, then you can re-evaluate what you're eating, especially if you're getting in plenty of exercise. There are things you can do like decrease the proteins and increase the fiber. You could exchange some of that protein for an apple, just don't get rid of all the protein. Another option is to add some weight baring exercise to your workouts, so you build more muscle.

I would consider portion size if this pic is anything to go by, there's just way to much food in this meal.

Bandrai, I really don't understand how one person can decide that another person's meal is too much food. Do you know anything about what else they're eating that day? Or, for that matter, that week? Are you up-to-date on their goals? This site is about support and encouragement. If you don't feel you can do either then please refrain from commenting.

I don't necessarily think that they were trying to offend you at all. You come here on this site to explain the the meal you have and you then say something about a problem you are having. There is a thing called criticism and I think you're having a hard time ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Yes, this website is about supporting, but it is also about helping out as well. You can't post something and expect someone to not say anything ON THE INTERNET. I digress, though some people can't comprehend common sense. They are right though, if you're trying to lose weight you should make smaller portions than that. Your portions are too big from the tea to the salad etc.....Do better

Uh oh... I2cool, I am not sure who you are responding to, but I didn't say anything... I actually agree- it was too much for one meal and I ended up eating it in two meals, lunch and dinner. Although the calories for both dishes together were less than 500 total.
