Yesterday was a gorgeous day. Probably hit the mid 60's by 4pm. Went on a nice morning walk on a trail that goes by my sister's house. There was no water in the creek. Bobby gets so excited if we get anywhere near "Aunt Nancy's" house. He starts whining when we are a block away. She was in the backyard with the dogs so I let Bobby off his leash so he could go visit for a few minutes. I saw at least 3 huge trees that had fallen over after the recent rains. The ground got so saturated I am sure there are many more trees down. We even took an afternoon walk because it was so nice out and I went out and did some raking and picked up many sticks and broken tree branches. The wild turkeys were excited to see me out and followed me all over the yard. I think they were hoping for bird seed.

I've had 2 days of eating off plan. Not too bad, but not good either. Hopefully, I'll get back on track today. Got in over 12,000 steps yesterday

I am eager for a warm day. I'm tired of snow and cold and even rain and warm. Sun and want would be nice but we seldom have that in winter. Sounds like you and Bobby had a wonderful day. I am trying to get back on track too.

Thanks Morticia - we often get some warm days in winter that make us think it's spring! I have taken off the flannel sheets and comforters in years past only to have to put them back on when the cold weather comes back. It is supposed to get colder in the next few days and we may even get a little bit of rain this weekend - but no storms.

It was a nice day wasnt it Fritzy. I spent most of the afternoon out in the pasture. Wonderful day
